Where did half the summer go already?

4th of July, birthday, Summerween, heat waves and rain storms. Home improvements and yard work. Pruning, planting, weeding, watering, snipping, clipping, staking, taking pics.

Daily grind, warm nights, up late. Groggy days, hot car. Shopping, free concerts, hanging on the deck. TV, chatting and sharing and browsing.

    • True! The “old folks” were right when we were kids about how time flies more and more the older you get. I remember them saying at Memorial Day how soon it would be the 4th of July and then before you know it, Labor Day and the summer is gone. LOL. They were right to a point. But we can choose to enjoy the moments along the way and savor the highlights of the season and each day. Sure, it still goes fast, but it’s not impossible to enjoy ourselves like some people make it sound.

      • I know. I do things often…might not be spending $$$ but it still is possible to travel & what not. Yeah the years go by fast but they go a tiny but slower if like you said, you live in the moment abd cherish each day. 😁
